Vor einer Weile habe ich ja bereits eine Linkliste veröffentlicht. Dort findest du diverse Portale für Singlefrauen mit Kinderwunsch, Solomamas und Spenderkinder.

Als Erweiterung und Ergänzung der Portale, habe ich in dieser Aufzählung Podcasts und Literatur zusammengestellt, die ich für mich teilweise sehr hilfreich fand. Vielleicht ist ja für dich etwas dabei, was dich interessiert.

Es sprießen immer mehr Podcasts über Solomams aus dem Boden – bisher nur leider noch nicht im deutschsprachigen Raum. Einige Podcastsfolgen, bei denen ich zu Gast war, kannst du dir hier anhören. Eine kleine Auswahl von englischsprachigen Podcasts und Folgen zum Thema Single Mom by Choice, die mir gefallen haben, habe ich dir hier aufgelistet.

Blogs anderer Single Moms by Choice

Leider sind deutschsprachige Blogs von freiwilligen Solomüttern sehr rar, um nicht zu sagen fast nicht existent.

Es gab beispielsweise den Blog von Schweizer Solomami Natascha, die diesen leider aufgrund von Zeitmangel wieder eingestellt hat.  Auch erzählen mir vereinzelt Leserinnen, dass sie gerne selbst einen Blog gestartet hätten, es aber aus diversen Gründen (Zeit, Lust) nicht umgesetzt haben.

Deswegen kann ich in meiner Auflistung leider keinen deutschen Blog nennen, dafür aber ein paar sehr schöne englischsprachige, von denen ich dir die folgenden gerne vorstellen möchte.

Bücher für (künftige) Solomamas und zur Entscheidungsfindung

Auch wenn du auf meinem Blog bereits viele Informationen zum Solomama-Weg bekommst, erfährst, welche Fragen du dir beispielsweise stellen kannst, bevor du alleinerziehende Mama wirst, was du bei der Suche nach einem Samenspender beachten solltest (hier oder hier) und Schritt für Schritt zum Start ins Leben als Solomama geführt wirst, findest du in den folgenden Büchern noch weitere ausführliche Informationen zu dieser eher noch untypischen Familienform der freiwillig alleinerziehenden Mama.

Wie kläre ich mein Kind auf, wenn es über eine Samenspende entstanden ist? Mit dieser Frage und mit weiteren rund um die Entstehung des Spenderkindes und die Entscheidung der Mama, die sich für diesen Weg entschieden hat, befassen sich die folgenden Kinderbücher.

Making Violet: A Sperm Donor Story Violet and Mommy discuss the way Violet was created using the help of a sperm donor, through the metaphor of mixing paints like red and blue to make purple. As the mother of a child conceived via sperm donor, I found that there weren’t simple children’s books to explain our unique family story the way there were for adoption and other alternative family creation methods. This story is the honest and simple telling that I’ve used with my own children and I hope helps your family share and learn too.	Dream Come True: The Story of a Single Woman Conceiving via Donor Insemination (English Edition) Explaining to a child how he or she was created with the help of a donor is not easy. Not only is it hard to explain, but it is quite difficult for a little one to comprehend. A picture book that tells the story can help tremendously. Dream Come True was written for this express purpose and is appropriate for children of all ages. The author, Elaina Leigh, also offers personalized printed versions, from simple dedications to text and picture replacements.
